In this video I show you guys on how to Jailbreak an iPod Touch or iPhone on firmware 3.1.3. It is a very simple process, and is incredible fast and easy.
First, this works for the iPod Touch 1G, iPod Touch 2G (Non MC), iPhone 2G, and iPhone 3G. This does not work, not even a tethered version, for the iPod Touch 2G (MC Model), iPod Touch 3G, or the iPhone 3GS. And like the text in the video says, if your iPhone is unlocked on a different carrier, then don't use this method to jailbreak, however, if your iPhone is just on at&t, then everything should be fine.
Here are the steps to Jailbreak 3.1.3 on your device:

1. Make sure you have the correct device.
2. Update iTunes to 9.0.3. To do this, in iTunes, go to "Help", and then click "Check For Updates".
3. Update your iPod Touch/iPhone to firmware 3.1.3, you should already know how to do this.
4. If your iPhone/iPod touch is already on 3.1.3, then restore it.
5. Download RedSn0w, depending on what device you have, which is below.

6. Download the "3.1.2 Firmware" for your device, yes, 3.1.2, not 3.1.3. So download the 3.1.2 firmware from here and save it to your desktop: http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
7. Open RedSn0w, and click "Browse", and then select the 3.1.2 firmware in the window that popped up.
8. Then click next, and select "Install Cydia", you can install custom boot logos if you wish.
9. Then follow the rest of the instructions displayed in RedSn0w and this should work!

Hold down home & power button for 10 seconds.
Then let go of power button, but leave the home button down, until RedSn0w recognizes your device.
